The Bachelor

The Bachelor is one part of Patrick Wolf's double album Battle. This time he brings a more theatrical album with his dramatic vocal and lots of guest musicians, it's not his first concept album but in The Bachelor, you can definitely feel how brilliant this avant garde song writer is. Not an entire departure from his older works, Patrick Wolf's sound-mixing experiments can still blow your mind.

The Answering Machine

The Answering Machine is a Manchester based band. Formed in 2006, the 4-piece indie band released their forth single Cliffer this March and soon became the favorite new sound for many blogs. They're about to release a debut full-length album called Another City, Another Sorry this May. Their energy kind of reminds me of the Dundee band The View, but with a more carefully crafted edge and maturity. Always love this kind of bright and playful young British band! Check out their blog and you can see how many great bands they're into.

Franz Ferdinand covered Britney Spears "Womanizer" on BBC's Live Lounge.

Together Through Life

Can you feel the change coming? Bob Dylan sure do. “Feel a Change Comin’ On” is a former unreleased track that's going to be in Dylan's 33rd studio album Together Through Life, you can listen to the song stream exclusively on Newsweek website. I'm always excited to see Dylan playing anything, whether his old or new materials, can't wait to get my hand on this one! Together Through Life will be out April 28.

This Week's Tunes

What a great week! I still couldn't wrap my head around after the Oasis gig, being so close to the stage and just a few feet aways from Noel was a mind-blowing experience.
