Arctic Monkeys live DVD released a few days ago, those of whom received the box set were all quite pleased. I'm still waiting for my copy(darn,why am I not in England!). Before Alex Turner end his affair with Miles Kane, this is the most we could get from the Monkeys!

"饒舌歌曲與韋瓦第"兩種相差甚遠的音樂類型皆為Emily Wells的最愛.她從小就開始拉小提琴,家中也總是堆滿從法國號到吉他等各式樂器,才華洋溢的Emily Wells在17歲時就成為許多主流唱片公司爭相簽約的對象,但她並不想成為流行歌手或搖滾女孩,她捨棄了這樣眾多人求之不得機會,選擇了獨立發行專輯,從各地的小酒館開始表演. 沒有一個詞可以完整形容她的音樂,儘管她的樂器以小提琴為主,你卻可以聽到流行,古典,爵士,民謠甚至是饒舌的層層堆疊. 在她的新專輯“The Symphonies: Dreams Memories & Parties”中,她可以在一首歌中錄製了20幾軌的小提琴只為著達到她心中理想的弦樂,現場表演的她總是忙碌的一邊拉著小提琴,手偶爾還要空下來調loop,腳也不能閒下來,必須時時注意,踩著效果器. Electric Arguments

1993年,Paul McCartney與製作人Youth以The Fireman的名義發行了有著electronic基礎的專輯Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest. 那個時期的Macca剛接觸電子舞曲,他和製作人Youth將電子原素結合到一段旋律之中,產生了令人驚奇的成果. 距離上一張專輯Rushes十年後, The Fireman要在11月發行Electric Arguments, 據說專輯中每首歌都在一天內錄完,分別花了一年當中的十三天. 第一首曝光的單曲"Nothing Too Much Just out of Sight"當中出現了與以往不同的明顯vocal,65歲的Macca狂野依舊!
