White Stripes , 來個F吧!

決心要唱遍加拿大每個省的White Stripes,繼幾個禮拜前的公車上live gig後,又再度演出了一場肯定會讓歌迷難忘的gig---一個音.

一位參與全程的歌迷寫道:

"White Stripes的加拿大巡迴今天晚上就要在St.John's正式劃下句點.在晚上的大型gig之前的下午,White Stripes和歌迷們玩了一個下午......
一開始大家都聽聞下午會有秘密演出,所以在下著雨的下午四點一個小pub外,一個當地電台宣傳說會有演出的地點,就已經聚集一百多人了.但是pub根本就沒有營業,半小時後電台又宣佈演出地點是在離pub不遠處了另一間pub;就這樣,幾百個人一同朝目標走去,但是到了電台所說的地點也沒有White Stripes的蹤影,只有一臉疑惑的pub老闆.
接著電台又說White Stripes的演出是在市區一間旅館,幾百人又這樣浩浩蕩蕩的朝旅館跑去,好幾條街的交通因此打結.大家到了旅館大廳,依然只有滿臉疑問的員工,沒有White Stripes.不過在大家奔走的途中一直有一輛黑色車子上的幾位穿了黑西裝打紅領帶的人不停詢問大家要跑去哪裡!他們是White Stripes的工作人員!
於是大家又回到最開始的pub外等了20幾分,那些穿黑西裝打紅領帶的人開始架樂器並宣佈White Stripes會在戶外演出一個音符,一個音符而已喔!
接下來的三十幾分工作人員開始試音,調音,調整Meg的鼓還有Jack的吉他和keyboard.這樣全套的set怎麼會只演出一個音符呢?於是大家都認定這場演出一定不只一個音符.
大約六點多,已經有三百多人在等待.終於Meg和Jack來了!大家都要瘋了,Meg坐上她的鼓,Jack背起吉他----BAM一聲,Jack就放下了吉他.
Jack笑著告訴人群他們正式唱遍全加拿大了!"

這場演出真是經典!雖然說歌迷們淋雨淋很久,但是能親眼見到這樣的White Stripes幽默也挺值得的吧!

去年夏天有Lily Allen帶動了一股"流行+創作+甜美+殘酷"的新一代girl power,而江山代有人才出,今年夏天就出現了以一首"Foundations"登上英國單曲榜第二名的十九歲女生Kate Nash.
原本立志要成為演員的Kate在一次意外中因為受傷而無法自由活動,於是她就在被困在家中的這段時間把以前曾經斷斷續續寫的創作一一完成也寫了很多新的歌;傷癒之後Kate就自己在當地的pub約了一個時間表演自己的創作並申請了一個MySpace網頁分享她的音樂.當她的音樂在MySpace上大受歡迎之後,她才決定要朝創作歌手這個目標前進!

歌詞多以講述故事為主再加上pop的曲風,Kate Nash的音樂常常會被與Lily Allen和Sophie Ellis-Bextor做比較;但除了歌詞創作上的相似,Lily還有Sophie走的是雷鬼和舞曲風的流行樂,Kate則是偏向民謠和midi(不過歌詞中總還是會出現幾個"fuck"和"shit")Lily Allen也曾在自己MySpace上盛讚Kate呢!

Interpol-Our Love To Admire

這張應該是最近最喜歡的,不知道是因為這張的製作人是Muse黑洞那張的製作人還是...?這張專輯從開場曲Pioneer to the Falls 就令我意外的有現代感,第一首單曲Heinrich Maneuver那種迪斯可般的跳動感不但不會讓這張整張專輯不協調,反而是讓這張混雜著強烈情緒與智慧的專輯更增添了人性.

Ash-Twilight Of The Innocents

過了30歲,真的會變成熟.已經不再是龐克少年的Ash這張專輯雖然不得不脫離一些年少輕狂的態度,但是這樣子不願長大的心態卻也不會像某些美國的流行龐克團那樣讓人難以信服(sorry for Blink 182).Twilight Of The Innocents專輯中有幾首非常成熟的作品,他們用了比以往更多的弦樂與鋼琴為輔,就算只是一首小品也聽來雋永了!
