Saturday Night Live團隊中的新一代偶像(or not)Andy Samberg,繼去年和Justin Timberlake合作而大紅的搞笑短片"Dick In a Box"之後,上周他則是用了伊朗總統Mahmoud Ahmadinejad到紐約這件事推出了新的短片.
這部短片抓住了Ahmadinejad說"伊朗沒有同性戀"的說法.Andy Samberg則飾演一位看電視後就愛上Ahmadinejad的人;短片除了找個與Ahmadinejad相似的演員外,還有大明星 Jake Gyllenhaal 的客串與Maroon 5主唱Adam Levine的合唱!


其實歌還挺好聽的,詞就真的是太好笑了!一直傾訴他對Ahmadinejad的感情,還講到很露骨的部份.最後還要幫Ahmadinejad解釋道:
"伊朗沒有同性戀,不過你現在在紐約阿,寶貝;stop hating and start living!"

美國Iowa的powerpop樂團The Poison Control Center帶點神精質的編曲還有可愛的歌詞讓他們的音樂很輕易的就獲得我的注意.甫發行他們第一張專輯The Collage of Impressions,裡頭許多首catchy又朝氣十足的歌聽來很舒適,聽說他們現場演出的power slides更是讓人沉醉!

The Rushes

多年前Coldplay在英美造成了一鼓piano-rock團的風潮;在那之後像是英國的Keane還有美國的The Fray等樂團也都是這個類型成功打入大眾音樂市場的例子.一直到現在這樣的流行音樂現象還在持續著,大家也都隨時在引頸期盼下一個優秀樂團的出現.
英國倫敦的The Rushes是最近我所聽到最動聽的新piano-rock團,四位團員除了各自的樂器外皆可身兼主唱,他們的音樂並不是什麼創新的類型,但他們的表現卻是你不得不佩服的美麗.除了piano-rock一貫有的穩定節奏外,The Rushes更有著朗朗上口且舒暢的旋律;在他們的MySpace可以聽到四首ep,The Rushes雖然還沒有非常明確的風格,不過光這幾首歌的表現就夠讓我興奮了.

hiatus

這幾天開學了,原本以為可以照常來這寫些東西,沒料到開學竟然耗了我不少體力與腦力;這幾天電腦又出了些狀況,似乎該換新硬碟了,所有資料和音樂都在電腦 裡現在也只能借用Mac湊合一下,就當做是個小小的hiatus吧.
美國新一季的影集這周也開始撥了,希望本季的影集也有機會找到好的音樂!

Blur

今年初開始就不斷有Blur要復合的消息,但是每回都是Alex或是Dave的一廂情願,Damon忙著自己的新團The Good The Bad and The Queen和音樂劇計畫,Graham除了自己的專輯外也是不太提到這件事.
不過這回好像真的見著了復合的曙光,NME報導表示Graham對復合計畫釋出了善意,現在就剩Damon還沒有表態,finger crossed!
說到Blur,除了我年輕時所著迷的Parklife還有13之外,就屬Graham的個人專輯最受我的喜愛;隨著年齡的增長,我對於Graham的音樂更是增添了許多的崇敬(尤其是去年的專輯Love Travels At Illegal Speeds 更是我的最愛之一)
沒有人能知道Blur結果到底會如何,不過光是Damon和Graham的才華就足夠讓我為了Blur的復合而再次充滿期待.
